On Pins and Needles :

Knowing that we need to change our sewing machine needles with every big project, where to put them so they are safe, until we recycle them is a big question. There are two great ideas. One is to use prescription bottles with a hole punched in the lid, the other is to use a spice container with a shaker top. Needles and pins easily slip through the holes. Did you know, you can recycle your needles? They are fantastic as bulletin board pins, but wait there is more. They are the best nails in the walls. The tips are really fine and make very small holes in the wall (no need for big patch jobs after the needle is pulled out) and the other end is so strong it can hold lots of weight.
